Overview
The Double-Port Eyewash Station KC 2-1 is a bench-mounted safety device designed to provide immediate eye and face protection in laboratories, workshops, chemical plants, and industrial facilities. It ensures quick response in case of chemical splashes or hazardous substance exposure, minimizing injuries and supporting workplace safety.
Construction & Materials
The valve body is made from solid copper, offering durability and resistance to corrosion. Each nozzle is coated with epoxy resin and soft rubber, creating a gentle, aerated water flow that prevents eye irritation. The Φ70 rubber shockproof cup protects the eyes from accidental impact with the nozzles.
A PP dust cover shields the nozzles from dust when not in use. During an emergency, it automatically opens to allow water flow. Additionally, the water flow lock switch activates and maintains continuous water supply, enabling hands-free operation during eye flushing.
Water Flow & Safety Features
The KC 2-1 delivers a water flow rate of 11.4 liters per minute, meeting ANSI Z358.1-2014 standards. It works best at a water temperature of 27–37℃, ensuring comfort and safety during use.
The station includes a pre-filter that removes particles larger than 5 microns, including sediment, rust, and microbial debris, keeping the water clean and safe for emergency flushing.
The 1.5-meter PVC water hose is reinforced with stainless steel mesh and wrapped with PE for added durability, preventing leaks, kinks, and rust. The unit fits standard laboratory plumbing via a G1/2 inlet interface and operates at 0.3–0.6 bar, withstanding pressures up to 10 bar.
